Was going to make this tonight as a healthy snack, but it was too bloody cold when I left work and I was too keen on getting into the warm and into my Pj’s so I was left only daydreaming about it.
It spicy, it’s crispy and it’s absolutely delish.
What you’ll need (just for yourself because you will not want to share this):
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 tsp smoked paprika powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- Big baking sheet
Pre-heat your oven to 250 degrees. Get rid of the liquid from the can, mix the spices and generous amount of oil with the chickpeas. Spread them on a baking tray – important to make sure they are not layered otherwise they won’t crisp.
Chuck them in the oven, and check on them after 10-15 minutes – don’t worry if you accidentally burn them because you’ve lost track of time while scrolling through your bloody social media (NEVER happened to me…) – just get your spare can out of the cupboard and start from the beginning!
